This year has brought monumental changes to the magazine and digital publishing industry, and we often work with publishers who are facing a variety of challenges.

Each publisher is different, but there are some issues that are facing almost all publishers. From a digital perspective, the following three points encapsulate the critical challenges facing magazine and digital publishing today:

As part of a 2015 redesign, the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives have digitised their offering of the CILEx Journal, publishing in a fully-responsive HTML format.

The well-established Chartered Institute for Legal Executives has been offering access to legal careers for over 50 years and are "recognised as one of the three core regulators of the legal profession". Their monthly publication CILEx Journal gives members all the key updates and information in law practice.

Yesterday evening, a group of some of the most influential people in UK publishing braved the temperamental British weather to discuss the publishing industry with Bo Sacks; a publishing and media guru from America.

Bo Sacks has been in publishing since 1970, and lays claim to authoring the longest-running e-newsletter in the world: "Heard on the Web: Media Intelligence". This daily newsletter covers the good, bad and ugly news about the industry, with detailed commentary on statistics and insightful opinion pieces from around the publishing world.

For your average woman, Lena Dunham is relatable on so many levels. She's a total mess, slightly overweight and she doesn't really give a rat's arse. 

The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) launched their new app this week at a sparkling Covent Garden reception.

It's the first app launch party I have attended, but the star of the show deserved the celebration and attention it received.
